What is Comic Boom?
Comic Boom allows children to create unique 4 panel colour comic strips using characters,
backgrounds and speech bubbles. The
program allows the user to draw on their
own or use preloaded clip art. Good fun for first time artists!

What is Flip Boom and how does it work?
Flip Boom allows children to draw and colour characters, then bring them to life through the use of traditional animation processes. They simply draw a series of pictures, and
when played in sequence, objects drawn start to move. Kids will be amazed that they can create
short animations in minutes! Projects
can be saved to work on later or exported in various formats to share with
others. Conceived specifically for
children with kid friendly icons, it is very easy to learn and use.

How is Animation-ish different from other
products?
Animation-ish is made up of three learning modules, the second
of which is equivalent to Flip Boom. The
3-tier program was conceived by educators to introduce animation to children as
young as four, to develop their skills while creating their own cartoons, and
build on this knowledge to allow them to grow into competent animators. Each level allows for projects to be shared,
or saved and worked on later. The only
limit is one’s imagination.
+ + Animation-ish includes a series of short tutorial videos, intended to
inspire and motivate users. It is the
only children’s program that allows importing of personal
pictures and artwork to be incorporated into movies. It offers more advanced features, allowing
users to experience the benefits of digital animation.

will keep early teens challenged and entertained.
Does a child have to be the suggested age to be
able to use the software?
No, suggested ages are used as a guide - every child
is different with various reading, writing and drawing skills as well as
differing exposure to computer software. Younger children may be able to use the software with some extra guidance
from an adult.
What product should I consider for a teenager?
Artistically inclined teenagers who are comfortable

Is there a box version for all your Kids
products?
Only Flip Boom Classic can
be delivered in a CD format. Comic Boom and
Animation-ish are only available as a download or as Gift
Certificate.
Do I get an actual paper certificate by courier if
I purchase something as a Gift Certificate?
The Gift Certificate option is available in the online store for all
our products. Upon completion of your purchase, you will receive an Order Confirmation
message sent to your email address. This message includes your Gift Certificate
Number as well as a link enabling you to print your personalized Gift Certificate giving you an actual physical gift
certificate to offer as a gift. It
is even faster than a courier!
How do I redeem a gift certificate?
Detailed step by step instructions on how to redeem a
Gift Certificate are clearly printed on the gift certificate. Simply follow each of the steps to start

Is there a deadline to download the software?
Once you purchase the
software it is automatically registered in your account and you can download it
at any time. There is no expiry date.

North America in one to two business days. International deliveries take between 3 and 5

Purchase the software as a download or if it is for a present,
buy it as a Gift Certificate – you can print the Gift Certificate and place it

as a download, registration is automatic.

the requested information.
Where are the tutorials?
Flip Boom and Animation-ish have tutorials or introductory
videos included, these can be accessed before starting the program. Other products that offer tutorials have an e-Learning
section within their product page on http://www.toonboom.com. The tutorials are listed and explained in
this section. We regularly post Tips and
Tricks for various products, so visit our website frequently and keep up to
date!.
Can I return my software for a refund?
We cannot accept returns on opened or activated software. However, tours and trials are available for
most of our products so you can try before you buy. You can view various projects created using
our software in the Showcase area of our website.
