to use, and the payoff you get by seeing your story come to life is like no
other. Both my kids (6 and 3) and I use it. I've always enjoyed doodling,
but when it came to animation, I never had any interest in it as a child,
because it would have been too much work. I played around with stop-motion
claymation... which was difficult because we didn't really have the right
equipment at home for it. Flip Boom takes the simplicity of animating by
stop-motion but allows you to move your drawings like you would move clay,
so it's even faster and simpler.
I love being able to give my kids the tools to learn a skill set like this
while they're so young. The world is getting increasingly visual media
related, and in order to stand out above the rest of the crowd, you need to
be able to show people something imaginative an unique. I can't think of
many ways to do that better than using your own art. Thank you for making

"My 9 year-old son Dominick wanted to learn about animation. I poked around online and found Flip Boom. (Mac compatible, it looked fun, without unnecessary complexity for kids.) I bought it for him for Christmas. In 5 minutes, my son was drawing and animating and hasn't stopped since. Many other Christmas toys have gone by the wayside already, but he has not grown tired of Flip Boom. He has already done over 100 animations, ranging in length up to 800 frames. He treats it like a moving comic strip, and adds text balloons when a character speaks. He is having a blast with it, and is always trying new ideas.
