The Toon Boom Studio Importer (TBSi) - For Version 5
The Toon Boom Studio Importer (TBSi) for Adobe® Flash® 8, Flash CS3 and CS4 is a plug-in that will let you import
Toon Boom Studio projects directly into Adobe Flash. TBSi uses unique technology
to improve the communication between Toon Boom Studio and Adobe Flash, resulting in a streamlined workflow for adding
interactivity to flash animations created in Toon Boom Studio.
TBSi gives you full-control of the import process:
- Select the scenes, elements (layers) and frames, you want to import.
- Decide how you want to import sound (MP3 and AIFF are the recommended file formats). You can choose to have TBSi edit sounds with effects that you added to ensure synchronization or you can choose not to import sounds at all.
- Preserve the layering order of your animation, or collapse layers into one to keep the effect of elements changing relative to front-back position in 3D sceneplanning.
In addition to providing expert control,
TBSi logically organizes your content in Adobe Flash.
- Element names are retained in the transfer to Adobe Flash layers.
- All of your animation content - sounds, bitmaps and drawings - are automatically organized in your symbol library so that you can make the most of your content.
- Sounds are placed in their own layer.
