Bird Animation Wins Sony Award
October 2002: And the winners
are... Akira Nagano and Takashi Murakami! Wanna know what the contest was? Japanese artist Bird released a song
called Flash. Naturally, Sony Music Entertainment decided to run a Flash animation contest to build interest and
excitement for the new song. After several weeks of hard work, the lucky and skillful winners are quite happy to
say that they couldn’t have done it without Toon Boom Studio.
