Teaching Teens to Toon with the TBS Animation Curriculum
July 2002: During the school
year, Brian Curwick teaches literature, language arts and US history at the Abraham Lincoln Middle School in Selma,
California. In the summer, he works on the "Gifted and Talented" program, which gives him the opportunity to present
students with challenging material not part of their regular subjects and learn something new with them at the same
time.

need to be fun and capture the excitement of a joint sweepstakes with US Airways, but it also had to be delivered
in a week!

Ad Flies High with TBSi
January 2002: Qantas presented
Sixty40.com, the Sydney multimedia production house, with a difficult challenge: produce two 15 second, animated
TV commercials in one week. Sixty40.com played to the strengths of Toon Boom Studio and Macromedia Flash MX
and one week later they have produced two crisp, clever ads.
