August 2005: James Watkins was born in Louisiana, earned his BFA degree in Graphic Design at Louisiana College and his MFA in painting at the University of Alabama. He also holds a diploma in Modern Harmony and Jazz Improvisation from Berklee College of Music in Boston.

July 2005: Rich Barry has been into cartoons, and cartooning as long as he can remember. Like most cartoonists he grew up reading MAD magazine, and watching Saturday morning cartoons while over indulging in high-sugar content breakfast cereals. The effects were irreversible... cartooning was in his blood, and still is.
