Why do I have different result in my final render out comparing to my camera view in Digital Pro? (Export)

DP0007: Why do I have different result in my final render out comparing to my camera view in Digital Pro? (Export)

-Difference between camera view and render view

Glossary
Camera view: This is OpenGL display view that shows the quick display for your scene planning.

Render view: This is quick preview of how your final render out will look like. You need to use this intensively to check your effects.

There are many possibilities having a different result between the camera view and final render out, especially when you have effects (cutter, blur, Transparency…) that are not showing correctly in the camera view but showing in render view. And this is normal that the whole purpose about the frame view is having a quick display so that you do not have any delay due to rendering every frame with effect that will takes a long time to do. So make sure to check in render view when you have effects often since the result in the render view will be exactly same as your final render out image/movie.

-Difference between SWF, Quick Time movie, OpenGL frames and Render network.

Glossary
Display module: This module let you see the result of the art work that is attached in the network view. You can have multiple display modules that allow you to see many different aspects independent from the camera view.
Write module: This module let you render individual image files or a Quick Time movie to create physically on you system. You can have more that one write module connected in case you need to render out in different resolution or file types at the same time.
Export: There are 4 different export (render) options for your need and all 4 of the options either rely on Display (Display all) or write module.

The situation sometimes happens when you export with ‘Quick Time movie’ comparing to ‘render network’ since the first one is using Display module while the other one is using Write module. In other words, since the display module you have chosen can be connected in a different location from where your write module is connected. When this happens, the result in Render output file maybe different from SWF, Quick Time movie, or OpenGL frames.

Here is the example of which options are using which module.

SWF, Quick Time movie, OpenGL frames: Display module
Render Network: Write module

All SWF, Quick Time movie and OpenGL frames has an option to select which display (display all) you want to use to render. The only drawback compare to Render network option, you only can select one display. In other hand, the Render network option let you render multiple formats at the same time by adding extra write module. This is very helpful when you export two different resolutions (ex, NTSC and low-res for the fast view). However, you have to remember that the rendering multiple at the same time requires more hardware resources that will crash if it excesses the limit. This will be more critical depending on the complex of the scene. ‘Enable External Read Image is bigger than [ ] times the final Resolution’ option from Preferences>Network tab will let you render in a separate memory section to help from crash due to memory full in certain extension.
