How can I select and remove the unwanted color only? Or how can I only unpaint selected color for all drawings? (Protect color)

DP0014: How can I select and remove the unwanted color only? Or how can I only unpaint selected color for all drawings? (Protect color)

Apply All drawings: This option all locked drawings (drawings that are able to modify) in a column with one action. This options works with certain tools such as; Drawing and Paint tools: Brush, Pencil, Ellipse, Rectangle, Line, Paint, Repaint, Unpaint, and Paint Unpainted. In addition, when Permanent Selection is enabled, you can also use the command to delete a selection.

The Protect color is a way to protect some colors from Repaint, Paint and Repaint Brush. Also when working with scanned drawing where the line is black by default and you want to recolor it with many other colors, like a skin line, a jeans line, etc the Protect color allows you to lock colors so that as you recolor the lines you don't have to worry of overriding a color line you just did. For example, all you lines are black, then you change the color of the face lines, next you have to do the colar line but don't want to mess up the neck line that you just did so "lock" the skin line color by setting it to Sticky color.  Now when you go over the neck line nothing happens, you don't have to be carefull of overlapping it with the colar color.

To select and remove the unwanted color only, you can use the ‘Select strokes with Current colour’ option.

Step 1. Switch your drawing tool as ‘select’ tool in the drawing view.

Step 2. Change to line art or color art depending on where the color is existed.

Step 3. Open the color view next to the drawing view to see the color palettes.

Step 4. Choose ‘Select strokes with Current colour’ from Drawing view menu>Edit>.

Step 5. Then use the delete button to delete selected drawing. With similar technique, you can select a different color again to change the color to a different one.

To unpaint only selected color for all drawings, you can use the ‘Apply all drawings’ option with ‘Protect color’.

Step 1. Select colors you want to protect from deleting by right click of the color and select Protect color (or Palette menu>Color>Protect Color). Then you will see the red bar on the side of the color. This means that this color can not be affected by the painting tools (unpaint for example). You can select multiple or all colors by selecting with Shift or Control key. Leave the color(s) you want to modify only.

Step 2. Change to line art or color art depending on where the color is existed.

Step 3. Change it to Unpaint tool.

Step 4. Select ‘Apply to all Drawings’ from Drawing Menu>Drawings>Apply tool to all drawings (or shortcut Alt + A). Note that this works with specific tools only.

Step 5. Then drag or circle the mouse to select large area to cover the whole drawings in the column. Similarly, you can use this technique to repaint only selected color.
