Error message "Invalid license syntax" upon launch of Digital Pro

DP0003: Error message "Invalid license syntax" upon launch of Digital Pro

This error message is usually related to a wrong license being dropped in the license wizard. It may happen when you actually put in the registration code that was packaged with the software.

To fix this you will need to run the license wizard over again. You can reach it from Start Menu>Programs>Toon Boom Animation>Tools>Digital Pro License Assistant for Windows or from Application>Toon Boom Digital Pro>Tools>License Wizard. This time when get to the Obtain Dongle ID step select Via Internet then press Next. Click the License Download Page and there you will need to register your key. If you are not yet logged in you will be brought to a login page, simply use or create a new account and proceed through the registration. Once done you should be sent the license.dat file by e-mail and it will also be displayed on the web page. Simply copy it and paste it in the next step of the License Wizard and this should fix the situation.
