TBSi does not import my file inside Flash

You might encounter the problem in which you can't import files created with Toon Boom Studio inside Flash using TBSi. The problem actually is that even if you import the file inside Flash nothing happens. This is a problem due to the use of non-unicode language such as French (France), Japanese (Japan), Korean (Extended Wansung) (Korea) and Chinese (Taiwan, PRC, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, Macau SAR).

This problem can be solved by changing the language parameter in the "Region and Language Option" of the Control Panel. The parameter you are looking for is "Standards and formats". Simply change it to unicode and it should be working fine.

You might also have problem using the TBSi with Toon Boom Studio v3.5.  Make sure to download the latest version of the TBSi for the TBSi for v3.0 is not compatibile with v3.5 files (this TBSi should be released by the end of year 2006).
