Administration / Accountant Intermediate

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full cycle account payables;

  • Performs the audit of expenditures and ensures the reimbursement according to the company policies;

  • Prepare bank transfers;

  • Reconcile all Corporate bank accounts, deposit cheques and perform cheque reconciliations;

  • Coordinate with senior management to authorize wire payments;

  • Fixed Assets – capitalize, depreciate and interface Fixed Assets, reconcile Fixed Asset schedules, maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger;

  • Files GST QST returns;

  • Proactive inquiries into cost savings and process improvements;

  • Assist Manager and team members on month-end and year-end schedules;

  • Supports the controller in all other related tasks.


  • BAC in accounting or equivalent;

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience;

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel;

  • Working knowledge of Great Plains;

  • Rigorous and professional;

  • Reliability;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills;

  • Customer service oriented;

  • Excellent prioritization and organization skills;

  • Be versatile and autonomous;

  • Fluently bilingual (French & English).
