Superbook – Virginia Beach, VA The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Toon Boom Animator to bring characters and environments to life with personality and emotion for CBN’s latest animated production, GizmoGO! Produced by the Superbook team for preschoolers, GizmoGO! is a mix of live action and colorful animation designed to entertain and teach young children with songs, stories, and a bit of humor. CBN is dedicated to bringing the Word of God and salvation to children through Superbook programs, a scripturally accurate animated series that includes teaching materials and interactive online experiences for children around the world.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Strong experience in Toon Boom Harmony 2D rigging and asset creation.

• Experience as a character animator on television animation, feature films, com-mercial and/or video game production.

• Strong understanding of the principles of animation, acting, and composition.

• Excellent artistic vision and storytelling sensibility.

• Strong sense of design.

• Working knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere.

• Basic understanding of compositing.

• Ability to match and expound on the show’s established style

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to strategize and implement a plan.

• Proven ability to multitask within a deadline-driven environment and be productive under pressure; strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment with ability to delegate and collaborate with an international team.

• Bachelor’s degree in animation or other relevant area of study, or equivalent combination of education desirable.
