Importing Flash and Illustrator files
When I import SWF or AI files, why does the function for importing these files appear greyed out?
The quick answer to this is because the Library folders are locked. Unlike other file formats that are imported into Harmony, SWF and AI files are imported through the library.
You can unlock a Library folder by right-clicking it and selecting “Get Right to Modify”
Unlocking the Library folders:
- Open the Template library. To access this, select the Library tab located at the top-right of your screen or open it from the top menu Windows > Library.
- In the Template Library, right-click the Library folder you want to unlock and select Right to Modify. The folder is unlocked. The import .swf and .ai options become available.
- Select the unlocked Library folder. The import .swf and .ai option should be available from the top menu: File > Import > SWF, Illustrator Files to Library.
Note: The Symbols folder does not import these file types.
