macOS Monterey & Toon Boom Harmony

Nov 05, 2021

Major operating system updates have been known to introduce compatibility issues with production software. Toon Boom Animation recommends that Harmony users delay updating to macOS Monterey (12.0.1) until our development team has finished evaluating compatibility patches for Harmony 17, Harmony 20 and Harmony 21.

If you have already installed macOS Monterey on an Intel Mac and are experiencing issues with Toon Boom Harmony, please contact support@toonboom.com. For the time being, we do not recommend updating to macOS Monterey until an official release is available.

No compatibility issues have been found with Storyboard Pro 7 or Storyboard Pro 20 on macOS Monterey. Releases of Harmony and Storyboard Pro fully compatible with Apple silicon processors (M1 and later) will be available in the later part of the new year.
