Yiotis has been in his current role as the FLIX Product Manager since 2012. Prior to joining The Foundry, he was the Pre-Production Pipeline Supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks, where he lead the design and development of FLIX. Throughout his career at feature animation studios, Yiotis lent his technical skills on multiple movies including “Hotel Transylvania”, “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2”, “Smurfs”, “Beowulf”, "Spirit", and “The Road to El Dorado”. Yiotis also supervised CG segments for multiple projects at NewKat Studios which he co-founded in 2001. These projects include “Minority Report”, “Mickey's Clubhouse”, “Winnie the Pooh”, and “Phineas and Ferb”. Outside of animation, Yiotis consulted for medical corporations such as Amylin, Amgen, Mentor. In 2009 Yiotis was given a “Man of the Year” award in the Arts category in Cyprus for his contribution to the animation industry. In 2013 he received an Engineering Excellence award for FLIX by the Hollywood Post Alliance. Yiotis graduated from Ringling College of Art & Design with a BA in Computer Animation.
