Does my educational license have restricted functionality?

Toon Boom educational licenses are the same as full‐version commercial software that the professionals use.

Can education licenses be redeployed?

Yes, if you have a lab machine that is decommissioned, a faculty member leaves, or a student is no longer enrolled at the, that license can be deactivated and reallocated to another machine. Contact Toon Boom Education for more information.

Is there a time limit for using my education license?

There is no time limit. Educational versions are perpetual license that do not have a term or any other time restriction.

Can I upgrade my education license to a commercial license?

Yes, Toon Boom education software can be upgraded to a commercial version when the user is no longer a student or teacher.

I sent Toon Boom Education an email, why are they not responding?

Schools using email addresses ending in .edu sometimes automatically block incoming messages that are not directly related to the institution. We recommend setting your security preferences to allow emails from the Toon Boom domain: @toonboom.com
