I'm a 2D Generalist, currently working as a Traditional Animator and Character/Prop Artist on Helluva Boss at SpindleHorse Toons! I adore drawing shapely characters and creating silly yet heartfelt stories. I've have had the pleasure of creating multiple award-winning independent films in my collegiate career and have freelanced on projects ranging from video games to tv pitches. Toon Boom is a program that I swear by, as it offers so many avenues for efficiency. (And is so dang fun to learn!) I plan to graduate SVA this coming May and am excited to continue growing as a creative!

My junior film, The Spellening, is a project I’m immensely proud of. Fueled by my hyper-fixation of Magic: The Gathering, I completed this film in approximately four months! It has since been awarded Rookie of the Year in The Rookies’ 2D animation category, amongst others.

What’s up? I’m a 2D animation artist with 8 years experience in the industry. I am originally from NJ and currently living in Toronto, Canada. I have worked as an animator on over 10 animated series for TV. Recently I moved up to supervisor and I love the experience of mentoring new and upcoming talent. I am currently overseeing a brand new series for Nickelodeon. Also I am freelancing as an animator on a series for Netflix. Animation is not just a job to me; it’s my career and I love what I get to create.

Marcella Gonçalves

Marcella Gonçalves
Marcella is a rigging artist from Brazil, with over 8 years of industry experience. Since 2021, she has been working as the supervisor rigging artist at Tomavision, as well as prop supervisor. In addition to her role at Tomavision, in the past she have been a part of renowned studios such as Boulder Media, Bento Box, Alopra, Cetati Inc, Lowbrow Studios and Belli Studio. In her spare time Marcella makes personal rigs for other artists to use.
