I’m a Character Designer and Animator born in the sunny and friendly country of Spain. I started developing my career working as a freelance illustrator for several companies, advertising agencies and publishing houses such as Penguin Random House, McGraw Hill, SM, Vaughan, etc. Among other jobs, I was responsible of illustrating the trilogy of middle-grade action bestsellers «Total Jurassic». Now I work as Animation Teacher at U-Tad, ESDIP Escuela de Arte (Madrid, Spain) and Art and Animation Supervisor in its associated production company, ESDIP Animation Studio. My experience has led me to work as production artist in several short films, and animator in studios like Headless Animation or MonkeyToons.

I've been in Animation for 11 years, and started off as a storyboard artist, and am currently Co-Developing, Co-Directing and Co-Producing a few things at Dreamworks Animation with my brother and creative partner, Justin Copeland. I love collaborating, I love telling stories from my perspective, I love designing characters, and I LOVE drawing in Storyboard Pro.

I'm working in the animation industry as a story artist from three years and I have collaborated on unannounced feature film with Bardel, on an insect TV series with Aardman called Lloyd of the Flies, on several projects with Blue Zoo, including a crazy adventure series comedy with animals called Big Tree City, and I also often work for commercials, especially with Golden Wolf on several projects, including NBA Jam. My works are always influenced by everything around me. In particular photographs, paintings, illustrations and also LEGO, works that can tell a moment or a story with just an image. So every time I wonder what happens to this image afterwards? What happens if I use this composition throughout all my story or this photographic lens? And all of this I try to blend into stories like I was playing with LEGO as a kid.
