Hi, my name is Lieke and I am a Freelance animator and illustrator. I have had the opportunity to work on a couple of cool projects, animated shorts, TV and YouTube series. No matter how big or how small the project, I look for that little bit of magic in everything I do. For me, visual storytelling is all about sharing, so I am happiest when I can share my experiences and creations with colleagues, friends and whoever is willing to listen.

I’m a Character Designer and Animator born in the sunny and friendly country of Spain. I started developing my career working as a freelance illustrator for several companies, advertising agencies and publishing houses such as Penguin Random House, McGraw Hill, SM, Vaughan, etc. Among other jobs, I was responsible of illustrating the trilogy of middle-grade action bestsellers «Total Jurassic». Now I work as Animation Teacher at U-Tad, ESDIP Escuela de Arte (Madrid, Spain) and Art and Animation Supervisor in its associated production company, ESDIP Animation Studio. My experience has led me to work as production artist in several short films, and animator in studios like Headless Animation or MonkeyToons.

I'm a 2D Generalist, currently working as a Traditional Animator and Character/Prop Artist on Helluva Boss at SpindleHorse Toons! I adore drawing shapely characters and creating silly yet heartfelt stories. I've have had the pleasure of creating multiple award-winning independent films in my collegiate career and have freelanced on projects ranging from video games to tv pitches. Toon Boom is a program that I swear by, as it offers so many avenues for efficiency. (And is so dang fun to learn!) I plan to graduate SVA this coming May and am excited to continue growing as a creative!
