El Dettmann is a story artist and illustrator currently based in Los Angeles. They graduated in 2020 with a BFA in Film & Animation from Rochester Institute of Technology, and have been working in the animation industry since. El was drawn to storyboarding as a perfect medium between their two passions, art and writing. They love cute, creepy, fantastical stories with a lot of heart at the center. In their free time, they like drawing their webcomic PROVIL, playing music, and researching the paranormal.

Began working in 2014. Started as a 2D animator/rigger, then moved to 3D feature animation.

I am a self-taught animator, currently at Cartoon Saloon and love doing my own personal projects on the side.
