Reporting directly to the Director of Research & Development, you will be overseeing all QA related aspects of the development of our products. You will be providing technical leadership and guidance as well as mentoring to a team of QA Analysts, while developing QA strategies for improving and leveraging our applications. You will be responsible for implementing and generating test plans to ensure that all quality standards are followed. Your understanding of software testing methodologies, possible issues/bugs, and development processes will give you the ability to lead our QA team and help ensure smooth product deliveries.
Lead and mentor a team of QA Analysts, guiding the skills and giving focus in order to ensure that all the quality standards are followed;
Define project dates and manage the team to deliver the projects on time and with respect to the schedule;
Work in collaboration with developers and testers to develop test plans to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness of the developed software in order to deliver good quality products without bugs;
Ensure quality standards are followed and submit to the Technical Advisor;
Implement system tests and generate system test results;
Test and review the user documentation (installations, user’s guide, tutorials, online help, release notes…);
Diagnose customer’s problems;
Develop in-depth knowledge of all aspects of our software;
Develop the ability to investigate any technical issue and to offer appropriate solutions;
Assist the technical support department and occasionally offer first level of technical support;
Communicate to the Director R&D any new and major bugs found during testing procedure.
College Degree in a relevant domain;
At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance using software engineering lifecycle processes;
Experience as a QA Lead;
Experience in developing test plans, writing test scripts, developing use cases, implementing automated testing, doing test activities;
Experience in translating complicated requirements into detailed test cases;
Experience in working in an Agile environment;
Previous experience with software quality tools (test case management, project planning, automation, etc.);
Experience with issue tracking systems (i.e. Jira)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Strong leadership; proven ability to lead and motivate successful QA teams;

Must demonstrate effective problem solving and critical thinking skills;
Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects assigned with minimal supervision;
