Toon Boom will be taking part in MIGS 2013 the Montreal Digital Festival. Lilly Vogelesang, Toon Boom Professional Product Manager will be presenting a workshop "Creating Artwork and Animation for 2D Games".

WATCH THE WORKSHOP - Creating Artwork and Animation for 2D Games
Hear about how to create artwork and animation for 2D games efficiently and effectively. Learn the pipeline that's in use by major companies such as Disney Interactive for their game Where's My Mickey, allowing assets to be exported and incorporated into game engines like Unity. When creating games for mobile, companies prefer to keep file sizes under 50 MB so that users can download their games under a 3G connection instead of Wi-Fi. Learn how some companies have solved the riddle and still create engaging, attractive, and fun games.

The MIGS guest country at this event is China.

The China Cultural Industry Association - CCIA, will be representing China at MIGS 2013. The CCIA is a national level association established under the support from the Ministry of Culture. Members of the CCIA are leading companies in China’s cultural industry (including animation and gaming), such as Tencent, Alibaba and Shanda Network. CCIA’s mission is to build an international interactive platform for domestic enterprises, and to promote the partnership and communication between Chinese and foreign companies in their development of product, project and talent. www.chncia.org (online soon)
